Resource center
YIKE will construct a youth friendly resource center. It will attract youth with wide ranging questions and will provide services and information about topics varying from business development to HIV/AIDS. The centre will be comprised of a resource center well stocked with books and an Internet café. Several youth are trained at Nairobits as information officers to answer to the questions asked and know how to find the information on the Internet. The center targets five thousand users in a span of five years.

Bath houses
Five existing youth groups are supported by YIKE to build bath houses at the site of their offices in the Eastlands region of Nairobi, covering Mathare Slum, Huruma, Kariobangi North, Korogocho, Dandora and parts of Eastleigh. These bath houses, latrines and water points will serve the communities that house the youth groups. It serves the group
by creating an alternative source of income.
