October 4, 2008 – German Goreala release
After raving reviews in France the Goreala album will be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. France’s world music mag Vibration called Goreala’s Metaphor za Mtaa “the best English speaking rap album of the year so far”. The German release will be on October 4th and the album will be available on the Afrikool label.

July 2008 – Partnership TYC
It took a half year of preparations but since July UpToYouToo and Tanzania Youth Coalition had in depth discussions about a partnership for the coming years. UpToYouToo, YIKE and TYC will collaborate in projects to stimulate youth entrepreneurship in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam. TYC is a union of 85 active youth organizations in Tanzania, with a secretariat in Dar es Salaam. From 2001 onwards TYC has strived for a better position of youth in Tanzania.
